The Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2013, with a B.Tech Civil Engineering degree programme with an intake of 60 students. It trains the students experience the joy of realizing their dreams. It is a fast growing discipline in tune with the demands for infrastructure growth. The department has well equipped laboratories with an emphasis on practical skills and fundamentals. The Civil Engineering Department has several laboratories catering to the academic, research and consultancy requirements. The department is having well qualified and experienced faculty members. They include Strength of Materials Lab ; Fluid Mechanics & Hydraulics Lab ; Surveying Lab ; Engineering Geology Lab ; Geotechnical Engineering Lab ; CAD & GIS LAB ; Concrete and High way Engineering Lab.civil-lab

Objectives

  • To provide Professional Education to the youth in the field of Civil Engineering and Technology.
  • To promote self-reliance among the young Civil Engineers to enable them to acquire necessary skills and guide them to achieve excellence in their profession.
  • To promote Research in the area of Civil Engineering & Technology.
  • To establish effective Industry-Institute Interaction through Consultancy and Training services.
